Essentials of Worship: A Hanafi Fiqh Class for Sisters

Based on the Text, Ascent to Felicity, by Imam al-Shurunbulali, translated by Faraz Khan
This class will cover the section of Purification (Tahara) from Maraqi al-Sa`adat, a traditional primer in Hanafi fiqh, translated into English by Ustadh Faraz Khan. The sections covered will be ablution, purificatory bath, menstruation, purification from filth, and purification after going to the restroom.
About the Teacher
Ustadha Sulma Badrudduja is a Hafidha al-Qur’an. She studied classical texts in Hanafi Fiqh in Amman, Jordan with Shaykh Faraz Rabbani and Dr. Salah Abul-Haajj. She has also studied various disciplines of Arabic such as grammar/morphology, literature, and poetry, and has teaching qualifications in some of the Qur’anic sciences, including tajweed, memorization, and the ten different qira’ats (recitations).
